Botanic Lab looks to the future with “drinks that do something”

Disrupting the crowded soft drinks market, award-winning British brand Botanic Lab presents raw and racy drinks, which are functional by nature and not merely by name. Made with real depth and rare botanical ingredients, each one has a role and is carefully selected to stimulate more than just your taste buds. What you see is what you get, we create drinks that do something.

The female-led business launched in 2015 by city banker turned entrepreneur Rebekah Hall, Botanic Lab is changing the social drinking landscape and rewriting the rulebook on stereotypical ‘health drinks’. The renowned cold-pressed Performance Juices, non-dairy Grown Up Milkshakes, as well as its first-to-market adaptogenic Hotshots have cemented Botanic Lab as an industry pioneer. With the 2018 launch of the award-winning Dutch Courage, Botanic Lab became the first brand in the UK to enter the CBD beverage market. Provocative? Yes, and proud of it! A sell-out success and market disruptor, Botanic Lab is at the forefront of CBD in the beverage industry. 2019 sees the unveiling of a powerful rebrand, and marks the launch of Botanic Lab’s second CBD product, Mellowdrama, the 60ml CBD Hotshot. CEO and Founder Rebekah Hall wanted a new look that instantly defined the brand as one that is both at the forefront of its field and advocating real change.

The botanicals might be ancient, but the brand is anything but. Tired by the lack of real innovation within the health and wellness space, Botanic Lab invents the progressive drinks of the future with formats never seen before, using ancient botanicals in new ways. It’s all about healthy drinks that do something; the only thing they don’t do is compromise on taste.

“When it comes to our drinks, we rebel against the boring and expected in search of something more interesting. That’s exactly what we set out to do with our brand image – provoke, stimulate and challenge the norm”, said Hall.

Committed to constantly improving its products and packaging, Botanic Lab’s latest product ranges have moved away from plastic to more sustainable formats like glass and aluminum can as part of the brand commitment to lead the industry on innovation, but also responsible sourcing.

As part of nationwide brand expansion, Botanic Lab launches into new retailers, including Co-Op, which adds to the retail mix of Holland & Barrett, Ocado, Waitrose, Selfridges, EAT and selected gyms.
